About Us

Who are the Littel Citizens?

Littel Citizens is a group of children aged 4-12 (including Junior Citizens aged 10 and up) in the Texas area who are dedicated to making the world a better place.

Our Inspiration

The inspiration for Littel Citizens came from one of humanity's most generous and kind-hearted people, Richard Fiaschetti. Richard found great peace and solace in helping others, and it carried him through many hard times.

When Richard left us in 2003, it seemed only natural to start a children's organization in his honor that teaches children at an early age to reach out to others.

Achievements

Since our inception in 2003, Littel Citizens has regularly visited local retirement homes and given gifts to the elderly. These gifts include individual potted plants in the Spring, handmade cards and chocolate filled eggs at Easter, flags on the Fourth of July pumpkins in the Fall, and gingerbread and candy canes at Christmas. We also perform a Christmas program for the elderly every year.

In addition to our work with the elderly, Littel Citizens proudly raises money for worthy causes. In 2005, we raised $400 for the Red Cross to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. In 2005 - 2006, we raised $809 for the SPCA of North Texas. In 2007 we held a Raffle which raised $1,509.00 for the SPCA and $2,530 for Buckner International Charities.
